Silicene and multilayer silicene have been synthesised on the a-phase Si(111)√3×√3R30°- Bi1). The electronic and structural properties of the Si films have been investigated by LEED/AES/REELS, grazing-incidence X-ray diffraction (GIXRD), as well as STM and STS. At the Si K absorption edge, REELS revealed two distinct loss structures identified as 1sàp* and 1sàs* transitions, attesting the sp2-like hybridization of the Si valence orbitals. LEED/GIXRD/STM and STS data confirmed these findings.
Fully-inorganic CsPbBr3 on Si(111) and lead-free Cs2AgBiBr6 films will be presented.
